Established in 1932, Shenyang Pump Factory boasts a rich production history spanning 90 years. Following the liberation of Shenyang in 1948, the factory evolved from the original EBARA water pump manufacturing institute left behind by the enemy, eventually transforming into Shenyang No.6 Machine Factory. In 1953, the factory underwent a name change, becoming known as Shenyang Pump Factory. In 1959, the factory site was moved to No. 28 Xiongjiagang Road, Tiexi District, Shenyang. At that time, this factory was full of devastation and rags.

Part03 Historical change
Following the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee, Shenyang Pump Factory embarked on a transformative journey aimed at enhancing economic efficiency and transitioning from a production-centric approach to a production and operation-oriented model. This involved comprehensive enterprise restructuring, aligning the leadership team with four key requirements, labor organization reorganization, implementing production organization based on employee headcount and quotas, economic responsibility system reform, refining the enterprise management system, and instituting the factory manager responsibility system. Maintaining a steadfast focus on technological advancement ensures the perpetual youthfulness of our longstanding enterprise. Regarding technological progress, our approach encompasses robustly implementing technical upgrades. In addition to aligning with evolving production technology and process routes, we have undertaken a range of enhancements and enrichments in testing capabilities and experimental facilities. We have established two dedicated experimental bases for both cold and hot processing, and elevated the capabilities of our physical and chemical center.

Experimental Center

In the year 1977, our dedicated staff took the initiative to manufacture and modify over 360 sets of diverse equipment, while also establishing 8 automated production lines. This concerted effort played a pivotal role in significantly enhancing our production capabilities and overall efficiency.

In the year 1982, Shenyang Water Pump Factory achieved a significant breakthrough by successfully developing high-efficiency and energy-saving water pumps. Within a span of two years, we successfully manufactured and delivered over 1200 sets of these pumps.

Since the 1980s, Shenyang Water Pump Factory has actively embraced technological advancements by introducing software from industrial powerhouses like Germany, Japan, the United States, and other developed countries. Furthermore, the factory has prioritized the development of its workforce by sending close to 200 employees to undergo training programs at both foreign companies and domestic colleges and universities. This initiative aims to cultivate a pool of specialists while enhancing the cultural and technical competence of our workforce.

90 years of industrial pumps

In 1998, in the Phase III of the "Dongshen Water Supply Project" initiated by Guangdong Province, a closed pipeline spanning 83 kilometers will be constructed to facilitate the transportation of domestic water to regions including Hong Kong. Through numerous arduous battles, Shenyang Water Pump successfully secured 16 orders. After an intensive effort spanning nearly two years, we used CAD/CAM integration technology to successfully accomplish the manufacturing of three-dimensional twisted impellers, elevating the quality of our pump products to the international advanced standard. A remarkable milestone was achieved as 16 sets of pumps underwent rigorous testing and emerged triumphant, ready to be deployed to the "Dongshen Water Supply Project " site. The delivery of these 16 sets of 62000HETXJ large vane adjustable vertical oblique flow pumps addressed a national void. At the Dongshen Project site, the pumps stood as steadfast sentinels, arranged in a serpentine formation, diligently extracting water from below and swiftly ushering in a clear stream. Their unwavering dedication ensured the efficient drainage and swift flow of water, leaving behind a transformed landscape.
